Toothless

Let me preface this post by saying, life around here is rarely boring.

Due to an incident in the fourth grade involving a large hill and a Radio Flyer, Jordan has had some front tooth struggles the past couple of years. After a root canal, a cap, the falling out of a cap, and replacing of another cap (over the span of, like, 15 years), it was best to just get an implant.


The thing is, this type of procedure has to be done in stages (usually) involving bone grafts and implanting the post so it will “settle in,” yadda yadda yadda…

He has gone through the beginning stages recently, and now my husband looks like this:

The night we got home from our Thanksgiving excursion, we may have gotten a little slap happy with the camera and took advantage of his dentally challenged smile/the fact that he hadn’t shaved his face for a month. This was the result…
